Happy Birthday Alyssa!

This year Kelli and Eric had Alyssa's birthday party at Color Me Mine. It's a place in Ogden that lets you pick your own ceramic thing to paint. This is basically a perfect idea for Alyssa. I've never met a kid that is so into crafts and creating. And of course her friends loved it too (don't even get me started on how much Taylee loved it). It was a very fun afternoon. I can't believe Alyssa is already 8!

McCartnie got a ceramic bucket of french fries bank.
Fries has been Carti's favorite food since she was real little
so we thought this was hilariously perfect for her.

Taylee picked a four wheeler bank. Also really
perfect for her because she loves riding on
the four wheeler and she's more boy than girl (although
she loves wearing pink). The lady even said "I don't think
I've ever seen a girl pick that one". Typical Taylee.
 She probably fully painted it
about three times. It ended up being a very colorful
four wheeler. She LOVED this party and the whole
birthday weekend she kept making pictures
for Alyssa and doing whatever she could to
make her big sister's bday special.
She is a very sweet sister.

Alyssa and some of the other girls picked this cute cupcake.
The top comes off so you can put jewelry or something
else inside. Alyssa is already a pro at crafts and of
course it was painted perfectly with purple frosting,
pink sprinkles and brown wrapper with pink polka dots.

Avery picked a cute puppy bank. Avery is our cousin
Natalie's daughter and her and Alyssa are in the
same class and are best friends. They are so
cute together!

As I said, very colorful!

Happy girls.

Alyssa has such a fun group of friends.
Reagan (the little girl in purple) is Kelli's best
friend Susan's daughter and she is hilarious.
I could listen to her talk in her little lisp all day.

We made these cute little 8's on the cricut and
folded some cute scrapbook paper for the liners.

Alyssa cheesing it.

We forgot to bring matches so this is a picture
of  Alyssa pretending to blow out her candle.
I told her that the picture looked so realistic
that she should be an actress.
